Stratton Development Centres

The Community Trust's first Development Centre came at Stratton just over a year and a half ago and a second followed shortly after. Both of these development centres have been great and successes in giving opportunities for Girls to play football.

On a Tuesday evening at Grange Drive Leisure Centre 22 girls participate in the 4.30-5.30pm class which is for 6-12 year olds.

A Thursday evening sees 14 girls between 5-11 year olds participating between 4.00-5.00pm. 

As well as regular session on a Tuesday and Thursday evening the Stratton Development Centres have taken part in friendly matches  and tournaments at various location in Wiltshire against other Development Centres. Alongside this the Girls got the opportunity to play on the County Ground Pitch in front of 7,000 fans at a Swindon Town home game.
