Development League Continuing To Be A Success

The Swindon Town Football in the Community Trust Girls Development League is continuing to be a success with the latest round of games taking place on Thursday.

It was the battle of the Stratton Teams as Stratton Tuesday and Stratton Thursday played each other.

Stratton Tuesday ran out 5-1 winners over Stratton Thursday in a tightly contested game and the Tuesday group pulled away with four goals in the second half without reply.

The other game saw Stratton Tuesday run out 7-0 winners over the Thursday Group. The 7-0 scoreline didn't really paint a true reflection of the game with Stratton Thursday playing extremely well with some lovely passing moves with Layla and all the girls putting in strong performances. Clinical finishing proved to be the difference between the two teams. Goalscorers were Georgia Sims 2, Chloe Scanlon 2, Jenna Sharma 1, Kayleigh Perkins and Megan Parsons 1.
