Coaching for Disabled Footballers Course



The course is aimed at anyone with an interest in or who is already coaching disabled footballers. The purpose of the course is to provide coaches with idea’s and guidance on how to adapt where necessary, to include disabled players in regular coaching sessions at your school/club/organisation. By the end of the course the candidates should be more confident and be able to apply and extend their existing coaching skills and experience to meet the needs of players with a range of impairments, identify appropriate safety and medical considerations and plan a wide range of coaching sessions for disabled footballers.

The course does involve both theoretical and practical elements so those in attendance would need to wear suitable clothing to partake in activity. The minimum qualification required to attend the course is a Level 1 Club Coach Certificate.
